Words for crypto payments

Network: the blockchain on which a coin is sent; sender and receiver must use the same one. Gas fee: the cost of a crypto transfer, paid to the network, not the casino. Confirmation is the step that makes a blockchain payment final.

Wallet address: the destination of a transfer, best copied or scanned, never typed. Transaction hash (TXID): the reference used to trace a payment on the blockchain. Stablecoin: a coin built to hold a steady value, so its price barely moves.

Safety vocabulary

A phishing attempt: a fake page or message built to steal your login. 2FA: two-factor authentication, a second login step on top of the password. Domain: the web address of the site, worth checking before every login.

Operating company:. Padlock: the browser symbol showing that the connection to the site is encrypted. Login history: a list of recent sign-ins, useful for spotting strangers. The regulatory licence, issued by Anjouan (Union of Comoros).

Staying in control
